Terry’s first passion was computer technology he built machines programed software and taught people to use it. He found a passion in teaching and when his uncle took him for a flight he developed a passion for flying. He used flying to get around for his software company Eagle Computers until his daughter Sarah wanted to fly. He figured if he got his instructor rating she could earn time. By this time he was hooked and If he could fly he did. Now with 17 years and over 5000 hours of instruction given. He is still loves to teach.
Combining the knowledge and skills she acquired for her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law and her aviation background. Sarah brings a unique approach to flight instruction by incorporating insight from psychology and the law. Sarah has a passion for education and continually strives to improve the ground school offerings at FlyBoys to ensure students are provided the best possible training.
Stacy Brown started flying in 2003, earning his private pilot’s license out of Berry Hill Airport in Stockbridge, Georgia. He earned his Instrument, Commercial and Flight Instructor ratings through Flyboys at the Griffin Airport. In addition, he holds a Commercial Glider license. Stacy has flown for the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) for many years and is a Mission Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Cadet Orientation Pilot (Powered and Glider) and a Tow Pilot with CAP. Stacy Brown has taught in the public school system for 30 years and has also performed professionally on guitar and trombone for over 40 years. Stacy is married to his wife Gena, and they have three children.
